Indian subcontinent

/ɪndiən sʌbˈkɒntənənt/ (say indeeuhn sub'kontuhnuhnt)

the part of the Asian landmass that forms a peninsula into the Indian Ocean between the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal, comprising the countries of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
